Built by Basom is a family-operated construction company serving Greater Central Florida with more than 40 years of hands-on experience in residential and commercial construction. What started with framing has grown into a broader construction company built on the same standards: do the work right, communicate clearly, and stand behind the job.
From custom homes and renovations to shell construction, turnkey framing, commercial build-outs, slab and block work, soffit, siding, and related construction scopes, our team brings real field experience to every project. We know how one phase affects the next, and we understand how important it is to keep the work moving without cutting corners.
We want clients to know what is happening, what comes next, and who is responsible for getting it done. For homeowners, that means having a contractor who can guide the process and explain what to expect. For builders and business owners, it means having a team that understands the work, respects the schedule, and does not need to be babysat.
Every project is an opportunity to protect the reputation our family name has built over decades in the field.
Built by Basom is led by a team that brings decades of construction knowledge, field experience, and family accountability to each project. Greg Basom built the company from the ground up, earning his general contractor license and building a reputation across Central Florida for quality framing, reliable timelines, and hands-on problem solving.
Today, that experience continues through a team that understands both the field and the people behind every project. Ryan brings construction and superintendent-level experience to the job site, helping spot issues early and keep projects moving with fewer surprises. Brittany helps keep the communication and coordination moving, so clients know where things stand and what needs attention.
Together, the team carries the same standard forward: be clear, be accountable, and build it right.
